Edmunds.com commented in their review of the Tundra, "The truck's handling precision helped make it one of the most confidence-inspiring trucks to drive." Heavy-duty mechanical equipment standard for every trim level includes a power assisted four-wheel anti-lock brake system, a 4WDemand system with 2-speed transfer case, and an automatic limited-slip differential for dealing with tough off-roading situations. The suspension package includes front independent coil-spring high-mounted double-wishbone suspension with a stabilizer bar, and low-pressure nitrogen gas shocks; and a rear live axle with trapezoidal multi-leaf rear suspension, and staggered outboard-mounted low-pressure nitrogen gas shocks.
Convenience features found in every trim include cruise control, 6 cupholders, an illuminated entry system, and a remote keyless entry system.
Naturally, the 2010 Tundra Double Cab 4x4 comes with all of the safety features that Toyota is famous for, such as the Star Safety System which includes electronic Brake-force Distribution, Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability, and Traction Control. Running on a 4.6-liter V8 engine coupled with a five-speed automatic transmission, this Base trim has all the necessary features, such as dual-zone climate control, a front 40/20/40 split-and-fold bench, fold-up rear seat, tilt steering wheel and heated power outside mirrors. You'll also get a great AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo system with an auxiliary audio input jack and six speakers for entertainment. 
With this Limited trim you'll get a six-speed electronically controlled transmission with a sequential shift mode and a 4.6-liter V8 engine. Exterior Limited-specific features include privacy glass on the rear doors, a power horizontal sliding rear window with a defroster, fog lamps and a deck rail system with four adjustable tie-down cleats. 
Featuring a longer bed, this Base trim comes with a five-speed automatic transmission that runs with a 4.6-liter V8 engine; heated power outside mirrors are included with the exterior. 
This Base trim comes standard with all the same great base trim-specific features such as dual-zone climate control and an AM/FM/CD/MP3 player, but runs on a 5.7-liter V8 engine, coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission that includes a sequential shift mode. 
The 2010 Double Cab 4x4 FFV Base comes with a 5.7-liter DOHC 32V i-FORCE V8 engine with dual independent VVT-i and ethanol technology. The engine is paired with electronically controlled 6-speed transmission. It can run on regular gasoline, E85, or any combination of the two. The tow capacity is 8300 lbs and the seating capacity is six.
All of the great Limited-specific features included on other Limited trims are standard on this one, such as a six-speed automatic transmission, leather-trimmed heated front seats and a deck rail system; however, this Limited trim is a flex-fuel vehicle and its 5.7-liter V8 engine has ethanol technology. 
This Base trim features a longer bed and is also a flex-fuel vehicle with ethanol technology in its 5.7-liter V8 engine; it also has a six-speed automatic transmission. All additional features are the same as other base trims, and include all the perks like heated power outside mirrors, dual-zone climate control and a tilt steering wheel. 
The 2010 5.7L Limited trim puts you in front of the pack with a DOHC 32V i-FORCE V8 engine with dual independent VVT-i and 6-speed electronically controlled transmission with intelligence. The engine pumps out an awesome 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque. The seating capacity is five and the tow capacity is 10,200 lbs.
The 2010 5.7L Long Bed Base trim leaves the competition in the dust with a DOHC 32V i-FORCE V8 engine with dual independent VVT-i and 6-speed electronically controlled transmission with intelligence. The engine produces an awesome 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, the truck length is about 18 inches longer than the original.
