2016 Toyota Avalon Reviews

The reviews are in, and critics find the performance and passenger accommodations of the 2016 Toyota Highlander perfect for families. Read some of what they’re saying below.

  • Edmunds: “The refined V6 and smooth six-speed automatic transmission deliver effortless acceleration and make the Highlander one of the quickest big crossovers around.”
  • Car and Driver: “Inconspicuous and sensible, the Highlander has what it takes to haul up to eight in quiet comfort.”
  • The Car Connection: “Inside, the cabin is all car, although there are a few fine details borrowed from Toyota’s trucks, some Teutonic-themed dash action, and a pleasing jumble of lines and textures.”
  • Kelley Blue Book: “Still leading the segment it helped create, the 2016 Toyota Highlander SUV may have grown larger, but it’s every bit as reliable and functional as the original. Toyota has taken refinement to new level in the 2016 Highlander, giving it a bold exterior as well as an optional hybrid model not offered by the new Honda Pilot or Nissan Pathfinder.”
