History of NoHo Arts District

Located in the heart of North Hollywood, the NoHo Arts District was established as an arts and theater district in 1992 with support from the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs. Riffing off the SoHo Arts District in New York City, the district has quickly established itself as a center for cultural life in the city and is currently the site of the highest concentration of music recording studios west of the Mississippi River.
